Add customizable events to the calendar and comparative reporting

We would like to propose the following functionality that we believe would be very useful for both operational planning and performance analysis over time.

Being able to add custom events in the planning, such as Easter, Mobile World Congress, local holidays or fairs, and that these dates are displayed on the calendar with a different color background to easily identify them.

In addition, it would be very interesting if these events could be integrated with the system's reports and KPIs, so that we can really track their impact.

For example, we would like to be able to directly select the event "Easter 2024" and compare it with "Easter 2025", without having to manually select the dates. We would only have to load the events at the beginning of the year and then they could be used as filters in the reports or directly a report called events where we can select those events with the dates already pre-loaded.

This would allow us to:

• View and compare metrics such as RoomNights, ADR, Occ, Arrivals, Departures, Production, etc.

• Filter by specific event without having to adjust dates each time, as many events change dates each year.

• Optimize commercial and operationaldecision making based on historical data.

How could it be implemented?

A section where we can register customized events, indicating:

• Name of the event (e.g. "Easter", "MWC", etc.).

• Specific dates for each year.

• Optional descriptive text to show details when hovering over the calendar.

These events to be stored by year and be:

• Visible in the calendar, with a custom background color or labels.

• Selectable as a filter in the reports, or even that there is a specific report of events, where you can compare several events with each other or analyze a single one with all the detail.
