We would like to propose an improvement related to the capture of warranty cards, especially when the customer is physically in the establishment.
Currently, we use Paycomet or a physical POS terminal, and when we want to save a card as a guarantee, we must request the data manually or send a link to 0€ to the customer to enter his card and tokenize it. This is especially cumbersome at reception, when the customer is already present.
Proposal:
Explore the possibility of integrating physical dataphones (I am aware that Stripe has terminals, for example) that allow:
Capture a guarantee card directly from the dataphone without the need to enter it manually or send a link making a charge authorization to 0 €, so that the card is stored as a guarantee (tokenized), and the customer has previously accepted that operation in person.
In addition, it would be ideal if this card could be reflected in the system as "captured as a guarantee", and could be used later to make charges if necessary (no show, damage, etc.), with greater legal and technical security.
