Intelligent configuration of cleanings and re-spraying according to length of stay

We would like to propose a very useful improvement to automate and better organize cleaning in long stays, especially in apartments.

Current situation:

The problem we are currently facing is that, if we configure the reviews to take place every 4 days, the system marks the review even if the client leaves the next day, for example in stays of 5 nights.

This generates confusion in the staff, who see a general cleaning scheduled in an apartment that is about to end its stay and that, logically, should no longer receive that service. And, in addition, it does not appear to them every day the rooms that require daily review of towel change/toiletries replacement.

Proposal:

That from PMS settings, personalized rules for cleaning and refreshing can be defined according to the total duration of the stay, not just based on a blind frequency.

Practical example:

  • If the stay is 7 nights or more:

    • Have a general cleaning review automatically scheduled on day 4 from check-in.

  • If the stay is 14 nights (multiple of the above) or more:

    • Have a second general review appear on day 8 (i.e. every 4 days).

  • Daily: towels/amenities review.

How should this be configured?

From the general system settings panel, with these options:

  • General refresh:

    • Activate only for stays of X nights or more (e.g. 7).

    • Schedule on specific days from check-in (e.g. day 4, day 8...).

    • Option to repeat automatically on long stays (multiple of 7).

  • Daily review:

    • Activate if you want to show a review of towels and amenities every day.

  • Deactivated reviews:

    • For accommodations that do not wish to apply this logic.
