PARKING/ PARKING SPACES management from Hotelgest calendar

We wanted to share a need we have detected related to the management of parking spaces, which we currently control as independent units within the system calendar.

Right now we solve it by blocking those units manually when we assign a space to a reservation, but the system does not allow us to edit those blocks. This becomes impractical because, if we want to change dates or adjust the assignment, we have to delete the block and recreate it from scratch. On a day-to-day basis, this slows down operations quite a bit.

One possible solution would be that these blocks could be easily edited, just like a reservation: change dates, change the name or even link it directly to the customer's reservation without having to delete the block.

Another idea would be that parking spaces could be managed as a kind of "simplified reservation", something more agile and without all the information required for an accommodation reservation. The idea would be to be able to assign them from the same calendar, but without affecting production reports, occupancy, etc. It could function as an additional calendar, more focused on complementary services, but displayed next to the main one to facilitate operational control.

We also believe that it would be very useful if, in some way, it could be visually reflected which parking space is linked to each reservation. For example, by clicking on the line of the calendar corresponding to the parking space, we can directly access the reservation of the client to whom it has been assigned. Or that this line is grouped or visually related, as happens when a reservation is part of a group. Even a small icon or label on the reservation would help a lot to identify if you have a parking space assigned or not.
