I wanted to share with you a suggestion that I had read but can't find it to comment on and it is about online precheck-in/check-in. We think it would be very useful for daily operations:
We do not have the "selfie" system activated for customers due to data protection, but sometimes we need to organize ourselves better and it would be very useful for us to be able to quickly identify if a customer has checked-in online through the webapp.
Our proposal is as follows:
Include a column in the booking report where, by means of a yes/no or an icon, it is clearly indicated if the customer has completed the online check-in via the webapp. This would allow us to better organize ourselves and also to analyze the percentage of customers using this service in each hotel.
At an individual level in each reservation, add a visual symbol (similar to the current SES.hospedajes symbol) to check at a glance that the online check-in has been completed, without the need to enter to review the reservation data.
Currently, we detect that a customer has checked-in because their names are usually shown in capital letters, but it is not a very intuitive or quick way to check it.
We believe that this improvement would be of great help to streamline operations, especially in accommodations that do not have 24-hour reception.
